Fuseta is still an authentic fishing village, beautifully situated on the lagoon of the Ria Formosa Natural Park. It has a nice beach that is especially suitable for children.
Furthermore, there are some good (fish) restaurants, a small market hall and a few supermarkets. The long sandy beaches on the islands off the coast can be reached in a few minutes by a small boat that sails regularly.
