CANCELLATION OF THE BOOKING BY THE GUEST/CLIENT
Bookings made through Portucasa are subject to the cancellation conditions described in the General Terms and Conditions.
Any cancellation or modification request must be sent to us in writing, by e-mail.
For change requests, we will always do our best to accommodate them. However, if this relates to adjusting dates, this may not be honoured if there are already other bookings in the new period. Also, requests that are in contrary to the house rules of the accommodation can often not be honoured.
A cancellation is effective from the day we receive the request.
For any cancellation or change of accommodation, you will owe the following fees:
- 30% for cancellation 60 days or more before check-in
- 50% for cancellation between 60 and 30 days before check-in
- 100% for cancellation if you cancel 30 days before check-in
No refund will be made if the guest(s) voluntarily decide to stop using the services included in the holiday before the end of his/her stay.
Cancellation charges will initially be offset against the part of the rental sum already paid to Portucasa. If this is not sufficient, the remainder must still be paid by the main booker. In case the rental sums paid exceed the amount for cancellation, Portucasa will refund any excess payments within 14 days of receipt of the cancellation request to the bank account specified in the cancellation request.
For bookings made throught external touroperators, the cancellation policies and pay-out terms can vary from the terms written above, as then the terms of the specific touroperator are applicable. It is also the touroperator that holds your payment and will refund to you if you are entitled to a refund.
CHANGES MADE BY THE RENTAL COMPANY
If the accommodation is not available due to unforeseen causes, which are not attributable to the rental company, the rental company has the right to offer another accommodation of the same or better quality, without the client having to pay extra.
CONFIDENTIALITY OF DATA
We protect your privacy. Your data will not be sold, traded or rented to third parties.
