Description
Tranquilidade means peace and quiet. And that is what you will find here! This picturesque holiday home is easily accessible, and located between green hills, about 3 km from the village of Santa Catarina. A paradisiacal environment where many exotic wild flowers grow; from orchids to daisies, old olive, pomegranate and carob trees. In this idyllic place you will find peace and nature, ideal for relaxing but you are not lonely because scattered along the road are more similar houses. Here you will stay in the typical, still original, hinterland of the Algarve.
The house has a simple design but is very comfortable and complete. The kitchen has recently been installed and in the winter of 20/21 air conditioning units were installed in all rooms which provide wonderful cooling in summer and good heating in the colder months. From the living room and bedroom you have direct access to the front terrace. From here stairs lead both left and right to the pool with a sun terrace and right to the barbecue. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Casa da Tranquilidade is an ideal place to relax, while the coast and nice towns are within reach! The last km is a good flat unpaved road.

The traditional village of Santa Catarina consists of a few streets and a church. It has a supermarket, bank, ATM, bakery, a few cafes and 2-3 local restaurants. Fresh vegetables, fruits and fish are for sale in the small market hall. The comfortable provincial town of São Brás de Alportel is a 15 minute drive away and offers a variety of supermarkets, restaurants etc. The coast of the Eastern Algarve can be reached within 20 minutes, with for example the lovely places Tavira, Fuseta and Olhão. The ferries to the islands of the beautiful nature reserve Ria da Formosa depart from here.
