Villa Corotelo is situated on a hill with a beautiful expansive view over the countryside and coastline. Built in 2003, this villa is spacious, comfortably furnished with good beds and a large, complete kitchen with bar area open to the living room. The kitchen opens out to a child friendly fenced terrace with a barbeque area that overlooks the pool and countryside. From the barbeque terrace, there is access to the steps leading down to the pool. The steps have been fitted with a railing for additional support. The kitchen is well equipped, and the bathrooms are spacious and modern in feel. The Master bedroom is located at the top level of the villa, and apart from a spacious bathroom, opens out to a beautiful large roof terrace with sea views. On the main level of the villa there is an additional large bedroom with French doors to a terrace off from the barbeque terrace with additional chairs for sunning and access to the steps down to the pool. A third bedroom with a smaller double bed (150 cm wide) is available for children or an additional 2 guests. The large living room is also spacious, airy and very light because of the many doors to the terrace. Air conditioning is available in all rooms. The owners have chosen to not install (Dutch) television, however there is a TV screen available. Access to Wi-Fi is available. The villa is situated and designed to get away from a hectic life and to spend time relaxing in beautiful surroundings, the sun and the swimming pool.
Villa Corotelo is available from April through October. You can spend a wonderful holiday in the sun at a top location for a very attractive price!
Villa Corotelo Surroundings
Villa Corotelo is situated 20 minutes’ drive from the airport and from the capital Faro, in a rural, hilly area with many walking possibilities. Beautiful views of hills and sea. The last 400 metres to the house are on a wide, slightly ascending dirt road. The house, garden and swimming pool are very private; there are some neighbouring villas nearby. At 1 kilometre lies the small village of Bordeira, with a few local restaurants and a mini supermarket. Within 10 minutes you can reach São Brás de Alportel, where you can do all your shopping. There are plenty of restaurants here and in the surrounding area. The monumental covered market of Loulé and the cosy streets around it can be reached within 20 minutes. At the same driving distance, you will also find the most beautiful long beaches and the fishing villages Olhão, Fuseta and a little further Tavira. From here, you can take a ferry to the islands in the protected lagoon landscape of Ria Formosa.
Layout
A lockable entrance gate leads to the driveway with ample parking space. The entrance hall gives access to the kitchen, staircase to the first floor and the spacious living room. Living room has several doors to the surrounding terraces. 2 bedrooms (1 with a 150 cm wide bed) and 1 bathroom are located on the ground floor. On the ground floor is also a small space with extra guest toilet and washing machine. Stairs lead up to another large bedroom and bathroom. Spacious south facing roof terrace with sea views accessible from the bedroom. On the side terrace is a large charcoal barbecue. Here is also the staircase to the pool. At the side and front of the house is a nice garden.
Please note: 1- This accommodation cannot be rented for business purposes. 2- Note also that the access road to the property is rough and requires a high vehicle that can drive over an non asphalted terrain.
